Speaking practice listens to you and scores your pronunciation, then shows which sounds to work on next.

This is the one feature with a whole-feature gate rather than a level or a cap. On a free account the studio does not open at all, so there is nothing to try first.
- Kana Sounds drills single syllables, the fastest way to fix a specific sound.
- Word Pronunciation scores a whole word and marks each mora.
- Quick Speak throws short phrases at you for general fluency.
A silent recording is not counted
If the app hears nothing, the attempt is discarded rather than scored zero, and it does not come out of your daily allowance. A failed recording costs you nothing but the retry.
