You can use most of TanoshiGo without an account. The difference isn't what features you can try, but what data is saved after you close the tab.
- Try an N5 sample of nearly every tool, and get scored on it.
- Use the kana trainer in full, with no cap at all.
- Work through lesson steps, which your browser remembers locally.
- XP, your daily goal, and a streak that carries between days.
- A review schedule and a collection that remembers every word.
- Juku classrooms, Play matches, tournaments, and the leaderboard.
Guest results are shown, not stored
We compute and display your score, then let it go. No XP, no review schedule, and nothing waiting for you tomorrow.
Your lesson steps do carry over
Lesson progress you make as a guest is held in your browser and replayed to your account the first time you sign in. Starting an account does not mean starting again.
Signing in is free and takes one click with Google. There is no paid step to get your progress saved.
