Welcome. I am Tsuru. Let me show you around in one minute.
TanoshiGo teaches Japanese along the JLPT ladder, from N5 up to N1. Everything sits in five places, and the top menu is named after them.
- Learn is the guided path: tracks, units, lessons, and the checkpoints between them.
- Practice is every drill: flashcards, kana, writing, and word practice, with quiz, reading, translate, discovery, and speaking alongside.
- Play is live competition: bot and quick matches, ranked, the leaderboard, and weekly tournaments.
- Library is the dictionary and your own collection of saved words.
- Claim is your daily pack, and Juku is your classroom if a teacher invites you.
Free is a real tier, not a trial. You get all of N5, capped inside it: the first 5 reading and translate passages per level, quiz questions 1 to 35, common words in discovery, a 200-word collection, 15 N5 kanji to trace, and the first 8 Conquest stations. Kana is uncapped for everyone, signed in or not.
Nothing is hidden behind a blank wall. Locked items still show, with the plan that opens them.
