TanoshiGo is a Japanese course built on the JLPT levels, N5 through N1. It has lessons in order, flashcards on a review schedule, drills, and live matches against other learners. The top menu sorts all of it into four groups.
- Learn has the lessons in order, plus Grammar SRS, Discover, Translate and Juku.
- Practice starts with the Practice hub and links each drill directly: Quiz, Reading, Kana, Words, Flashcards, Write and Speak.
- Play is where you face other learners, through the Play hub, Versus, Leaderboard and Friends.
- Library is the Dictionary and your Collection of the words you've saved from it.
- Home and the Claim button sit outside the four groups. Claim opens today's pack of words and appears once you sign in.
The Free plan opens all of N5 with no time limit, capped inside the level. You get the first 5 Reading and 5 Translate passages per level, 35 of every 100 quiz questions, and common words in Discover. Your collection holds 300 cards and you can review 60 a day. You can trace 15 N5 kanji and play the first 8 stations of each Gokaido Conquest network.
Kana is free for everyone, guests included. New accounts also get a 14-day trial that opens every level.
