Daily claim hands you a small pack of new words each day. Answer them and they join your collection.
- Right on the first try pays 8 XP, and the word enters your deck on a Good grade.
- Right on the second try pays 4 XP, and the word enters on a Hard grade so it comes back sooner.
- Wrong twice pays nothing, and the word is still added to your deck.
A miss is not a loss
Getting a card wrong never costs you the word. Missing it just means it arrives already marked as difficult, which is exactly when spaced repetition is most useful.
Packs per day follow your plan: free opens 2, premium and unlimited open 5. Clearing a whole pack pays a one-time 10 XP bonus on top of the per-card XP.
The counter resets at midnight UTC, not at your local midnight, so the rollover time depends on your timezone.
- Open Claim in the top menu.
- Click Open today's pack.
- Answer each card to add the word to your collection.
