On this page
Play is a whole second app inside TanoshiGo. It swaps the top menu for its own bar and keeps its own theme, so you always know when you are in competitive territory.

The four sections

  1. Hub is this page: your rank, recent matches, live tournaments, and friends.
  2. Versus is where matches start, against a bot or a real opponent.
  3. Leaderboard ranks calibrated players globally, by region, by country, or among friends.
  4. Tournament lists weekly brackets you can register for.

Two separate unlocks

Ranked opens after
10 quick matches
Then placements
7 matches

These are two different milestones

Ten completed quick matches unlock the ranked queue. Only then do your first seven ranked matches run as placements, with your tier hidden until they finish. Reaching the ranked button is not the same as having a rank.
Play has its own look and its own tabs. Use Back to Learn to return to the rest of the app.
